Meow from the cat show

Added on by Monica Herndon.

If told me a year ago I'd voluntarily spend 4 hours on a Sunday morning covering a cat show, I wouldn't have believed you. But I did. The people were nice, and I learned a lot about cats. All sorts of cats.

The Skyway Cat Club hosts four shows a year that range from 120 to 150 cats. This is the 31st show they’ve hosted with The International Cat Association, or TICA, though the club has been in existence since 1995. According to show manager Theresa Kempton, 400 to 500 spectators attend each show.
